There’s something magical about photographing the same family in the same place—ten years apart.
Jeremy isn’t just a longtime friend of my husband Mike… he’s his best friend, his brother-from-another-mother, his ride-or-die since their days in the Marines. Their bond started with a small act of kindness and grew into a lifelong friendship that’s weathered time and distance—proof that real family isn’t always about blood.
A decade ago, I had the joy of capturing the Franklin family’s very first photos before we devoured a delicious brunch at the 94th Aero Squadron. That shoot gave me one of my all-time favorite images—Faith’s radiant smile, which still graces my website’s contact page to this day!
Fast forward to now—same family, same spot, same love—and somehow, they’ve only gotten more beautiful (and let’s be real, so has my camera gear). It felt like hitting rewind and play at the same time.
Thank you, Jeremy and Phebe for being great friends and just picking up where we left off.
Check out their teasers!
