Some days, the best photoshoots come with a little bit of luck—like our session with Darby, Kris, and their wonderful blended family: Daelynn, Jordynn, and Jaden. The forecast called for rain, but somehow we managed to find the perfect window of calm skies at Elm Grove Beach in Lake Elsinore.
The soft, overcast light worked in our favor, giving every shot a dreamy glow against the lake’s peaceful backdrop. Watching the family laugh together, share warm hugs, and simply enjoy the moment reminded me why I love capturing these stories. But also hearing the euwww whenever I had Darby and Kris kiss was also fun.
Even with the weather playing games, the love and connection between them shone brighter than the sun ever could. What started as a potential rainout turned into a beautiful, joy-filled memory for all of us—and yes, you’ll be happy to know, no kids were farted on during this shoot! 😄
