I’ve had the joy of photographing the Ellyn and Shaun for years — and what a journey it’s been! I first met Ellyn and Shaun at their engagement session in 2017, where their laughter came easily, and their love story was just beginning. Then came their wedding, a day filled with joy, celebration, and that same infectious energy that still shines through today.
Fast forward a few years, and along came two adorable little girls who have completely stolen the show. (sorry Ellyn and Shaun you guys are so 2017). Last year was our first official family photo session, and this year… well, the girls have definitely grown — maybe a foot taller, or maybe I’m just shrinking! Either way, their personalities have only gotten bigger.
Of course, no family session with toddlers (and big personalities!) runs without a little behind-the-scenes magic — in this case, lots of chocolate bribery. Let’s just say those giggles and sweet smiles were powered by a few strategic treats and some well-earned cocoa motivation!
It’s been such a gift to watch this family grow, season after season — from engagement to wedding to parenthood. I can’t wait to see what our next chapter of photos (and snack negotiations) brings!
