What a fun and full-circle kind of day! Today’s session with Aerin and Natalie was an absolute blast — an 80’s/90’s-inspired BFF photoshoot that had all the vintage flair, laughter, and friendship anyone could ask for. We went for broke including the iconic Fart Transplant photo. I had to pick my faves to post.
The funnest part? I actually knew Natalie way back when we were in middle school in Washington State (Oak Harbor of all places) — small world, right? And of course, I’ve had the joy of photographing Aerin through so many milestones, including her wedding, her Hygienist Graduation and other special moments over the years. So capturing the two of them together today felt like reconnecting multiple parts of my own story too.
The best touch was recreating some of their old childhood photos — same poses, same smiles, and honestly, the same sweet affection between them. Some friendships really do stand the test of time (and fashion trends!).
Days like this remind me why I love what I do — not just taking photos, but preserving the magic of connection and nostalgia. 💕📸
