Every year, I look forward to my annual photo session with the Gloria Jol Family — a tradition that feels more like catching up with loved ones than “work.” I’ve known Sunny since the early 2000s, and she’s had a special place in my heart from the very start. She’s one of those rare souls who radiates warmth and authenticity wherever she goes.
Then came along Steph — her beautiful wife — and their bright, spirited daughter Peyton. Watching Peyton grow each year has been such a joy; that girl is almost taller than me now! I swear next year is going to be the year she officially passes me up. And this year she was quite my posing assistant helping pose Mommy and Mamma and making sure they looked “good”
What I love most about photographing this family is the energy they bring. There’s no pretense, no performance — just laughter, genuine connection, and the kind of love that fills the room. Whether we’re chatting over a meal, sharing stories, or capturing those perfect in-between moments, time with the Gloria Jol Family always feels easy and real.
