It was a nice overcast evening on Shelter Island for the nuptials of Suzanne and Hanis. Suzanne called me 4 days before her wedding (yes you read that right) and I said so in 4 days?? She said yep! So I said ok! It was a celebration and commemoration of Hanis’ mother who passed a year ago and they released butterflies in her honor (well we tried) I think the box was too cozy for them, but if you look carefully you may spot one or two. The day was Led by Tricia Tellier Gaut (a beautiful past bride of mine who is a rockstar with events, marketing… you name it. She’s just one talented woman. And did I mention she can belt out a powerhouse tune?)
With both their close family and friends by their side, they said I do in front of the Japanese Friendship bell. Check out the teasers from the day:
