Last night, amidst the serene beauty of Green Gables Estate in San Marcos, CA, friends and family gathered to celebrate a milestone: Glenda’s 60th birthday. Known affectionately as “Mom” or “Nanay” by her three stunning daughters and esteemed as a seasoned Pinay nurse in the community, Glenda’s special day was marked with a blend of tradition, love, and lively festivities.
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect—a hot summer day enveloped the estate, where guests were welcomed with warmth and the delightful array of kakanin to the refreshing presence of Taho, every bite resonated with the flavors of home, echoing the richness of Glenda’s heritage. The favors were cute mini Wilis Tambo (Filipino whisk broom).
A highlight of the celebration was the performance by Tinikling dancers, who captivated everyone with their rhythmic movements and intricate footwork, showcasing the beauty of Filipino folklore. The dance floor came alive with laughter and applause, as guests joined in, celebrating the spirit of Filipino culture that Glenda holds dear.
Among the heartfelt tributes, Glenda herself took the stage, a talented singer in her own right. Her melodious voice filled the air as she dedicated a song to her beloved mother, a moment that resonated deeply with everyone present.
