The holiday season is always a magical time, and this year, it was extra special thanks to the Cook family. We met at Fairmount Park for their holiday session, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
Anique and Joe, along with their son Jayden, showed up in the most festive Grinch Christmas sweaters I’ve ever seen. The best part? Their sweaters lit up like, you guessed it, a Christmas tree! It was impossible not to get into the holiday spirit with their cheerful and twinkling outfits.
The journey to meeting the Cooks started with Anique’s sister, Ashley. I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley at a bridal show, where days later, Anique miraculously picked my flyer from a bag full of dozens of others that Ashley and the other Bridesmaids gathered. We chatted about her big day on the phone for over an hour, and it was one of those moments that felt like fate. Things just happen for a reason… and this is one of those times.
Fairmount Park provided the perfect backdrop for our session. The towering trees and serene landscape added a touch of natural beauty to the festive atmosphere.
It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do. The Cook family’s genuine happiness, Jayden’s model poses, and Anique’s holiday excitement and Joe’s holiday cheer made for unforgettable photos. Here’s to many more magical moments and capturing the essence of the holidays with families like the Cooks. (Every year Anique and I expect you to outdo these sweaters)
