The holiday season is always a special time for families to come together, and this year, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Felicitas family at the picturesque Mountain Hawk Park. The park, with its serene landscapes and breathtaking views, provided the perfect backdrop for capturing these cherished moments.
My journey with the Felicitas family began back in 2018 at Danielle and Ron’s beautiful wedding. I still remember how all their kids were tiny and small back then. One of the most unforgettable moments from that day was when we tried to coax a smile out of their youngest, Jordan. We playfully warned him that if he didn’t smile, we would fart on him. To our surprise, this led to tears as we discovered he had a strong dislike for farts! Fast forward to now, and it’s both amusing and heartwarming to hear that Jordan has become quite the jokester, even claiming to do it in the middle of class. I couldn’t be more proud….
The photo session at Mountain Hawk Park was a testament to the Felicitas family’s bond. The kids, no longer tiny, displayed their unique personalities, and the love and warmth shared among them were palpable. The crisp winter air, combined with the golden hues of the setting sun, added a magical touch to the photographs.
It brings me immense joy to witness families reuniting and creating new memories during the holidays. The Felicitas family holds a special place in my heart, and being able to document their journey from their wedding day to the present has been a true honor.
