The last time I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little crew, baby Matie (Matilda) had just arrived earthside. She was the tiniest, most perfect little potato bug — all curled up and brand new, completely unaware of the wild and wonderful life that was waiting for her. It was pure magic.
Well. Matie knows now.
Fast forward to this session and this girl is on the move. Running, spinning, exploring every single corner of every single space — with the absolute confidence of someone who owns the place. Mommy and Mamma, bless their hearts, were right there keeping up every step of the way. (Who needs a gym membership when you’ve got a toddler, right? 😄)
Watching this family together is honestly one of my favorite things. The way Matie’s eyes light up when she looks at her moms. The way her moms look at her — like she is the most extraordinary thing they’ve ever seen. Because honestly? She is.
These are the sessions that remind me exactly why I do this work. Families grow, babies become little people with big personalities, and the love just keeps expanding to hold all of it.
