I look forward to this time every year and this year actually fell on Betsy and Julie’s actual anniversary. 11 years together 7 years married, and a partridge and a cat in a pear tree. So many good memories every time I see these two. I get my tickets to the Gunshow every year! Their love story was truly a great partnership and romance from when I met them. I had a heartfelt email from Betsy about her and Julie’s journey and how they felt the importance of finding the perfect photographer for them was imperative. Aside from that though, the first line of the email said “Stephy… Will you still come take pictures if there is no cake?” 🙂 Someone who truly researched and just knew me! (there were cupcakes don’t worry). Ever since then, they’ve been a part of Stephy Wong’s most beloved couples and I truly love these two so much. They brought me some cake/cupcake socks this year! Every year they make it a point to give me a gift and every year they just know me. There was a lot of wine sippin (Thank you Lea from Wilson Creek!), butt pinching, kissing, staring into each other’s eyes, more wine sippin’, getting in “holes”, delicious Italian food, and decadent dessert.
